First podium finish from 2021 for Eduard Grosu in the last stage of Sibiu Cycling Tour
Eduard Grosu finished 2nd in the 205 km long last stage of Sibiu Cycling Tour after he started the sprint by himself, overtaking 3 riders from Bora-hansgrohe team in the last 350 twisted paved meters of the stage.
He was overtaken, just before the last right hand corner, only by Pascal Ackermann who had help from his team mates in closing the gap to Eduard, for whom this is the best result so far from 2021.

Tour de San Luis – Stage 6
Etapa de sambata, a 6-a, a Turului provinciei San Luis, disputata pe traseul La Toma – Filo Sierras Comechingones – 159,5 km, cu sosire in varf la 2.140 m, dupa o catarare batuta de un vant cumplit de-a lungul a 17 km, a fost castigata de columbianul Miguel Angel Lopez, insa cel mai combativ rutier al zilei a fost desemnat romanul Eduard Grosu, care a participat la o evadare de aproape 100 de km, fiind, in cele din urma, singurul dintre cei 3 carati initial, care a tinut pana aproape de varf, fiind prins cu 7 km inainte de final.
Totodata, Eduard Grosu a fost invingatorul sprinturilor intermediare si al primei catarari, ajungand sa ocupe pozitia secunda la sprinturile intermediare la general.

Tour de San Luis second stage with the NIPPO Vini Fantini playing a leading role for all the race. Genki Yamamoto in the right escape of the day, is the last rider to give up, 300 meters before the finish line. In the final sprint Eduard Grosu closed 4° behing three great sprinters as Gaviria, Sagan and Viviani.
